To accommodate continued growth, Micro Powders has completed an expansion of its Tarrytown, NY product development laboratory that triples the size of the previous space. The new laboratory is flexibly designed to support product development activities for both the industrial and personal care divisions of the company.

The new laboratory includes state-of-the-art ductless fume hood technology as well as a high-efficiency downdraft booth to collect dust during dry powder transfer and handling. Additional investments have been made in new instrumentation, including a high performance differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and additional test equipment. These changes improve MPI’s abilities to design novel new products, solve customer problems, and perform application studies.
